Michelle Hsiao Au is an American anesthesiologist and politician from Georgia. Au has served in the Georgia House of Representatives as a Democratic member for District 50 since 2023. Au previously represented the 48th District in the Georgia State Senate and was the first Asian American elected to that body. In December 2021, Au announced that she would not be running for re-election in Senate District 48 but instead would run for election in Georgia state House District 50 due to the Republican controlled state legislature re-drawing her district.
