Terms of Use

Effective date: 2026-06-02 · Last updated: 2026-06-02

These terms ("Terms") govern your use of Repped ("the app," "we," or "Repped"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Plain language, no fine-print tricks.

What Repped is

Repped is an independent civic-information reference that shows the elected officials for a point on the map. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representing any government agency, political party, candidate, or campaign.

The data is provided "as is"

Civic data comes from public sources and is refreshed regularly, but it can be incomplete or out of date (redistricting, resignations, special elections). We provide it without warranty and you should verify anything important against the official source. If you spot an error, tap "Report an error" on the rep's page or email us — we fix these quickly.

Voting records & scorecards

Voting scorecards on Repped are computed from public-domain government records obtained via Open States. Our party-unity, attendance, and bipartisan indices are Repped's own computed metrics based on those records. These scorecards are not official legal records, carry no warranty of accuracy, and may contain errors from the source data.

If you spot an error, please report it via the "Report an error" link on the scorecard or by emailing repped.errors@proton.me.

Repped Pro subscription

Family & friends codes

Comp codes that unlock Repped Pro for free are promotional, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may be limited, expired, or revoked at our discretion. They are not a purchase and carry no subscription guarantee.

Shared pages — acceptable use

Repped Pro lets you publish a public page so others can contact a representative. You are responsible for the issue text you write. You agree not to create shared content that is:

Shared pages are public and may be indexed by search engines. We may remove any shared page at our discretion, including on report, without notice.

Your responsibilities

Use Repped lawfully. Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape at abusive volume, reverse-engineer for harm, or interfere with the service or other users.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repped is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or reliance on its data. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, show an in-app notice. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
